DS Iceberg

An institutional iceberg detector: the hidden refill limit orders that absorb aggression and quietly refuse to let price through.

  • Finds the hidden size
  • Two engines must agree
  • Glass over your candles
  • Closed bars only

Futures trading carries substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor, and hypothetical or simulated results have inherent limitations that may differ materially from live trading. Price tells you where the market went – DS Iceberg marks where a large participant would not let it go. Confirmed levels become clean runway zones you can lean on, and the ones an independent volume footprint also confirms are flagged separately, so the levels with the most confirmation are obvious at a glance.

In detail

Price shows you where the market went. This shows you where someone large would not let it go.

An iceberg shows a small tip and re-posts at the same price each time it is hit. Its fingerprint is absorption: heavy volume trades in, aggressors keep hitting, and price is rejected anyway.

Two engines, working independently

  • A wick-rejection and volume test that confirms only when repeated tests cluster at one price
  • A volume-at-price footprint, refined by the true bid and ask stamped on every trade
  • Confirmation needs a statistically heavy node absorbing on the correct side
  • Levels both engines agree on carry a cyan border — your most-confirmed prices, at a glance

Drawn as glass over the candles: an exact-level line with faint edges, never a fill. Built from closed bars, so it never repaints.

Test it on your own charts first.

Four screenshots and a paragraph are not enough to judge an indicator on. Watch it work in your own instrument, on your own timeframe, before it goes anywhere near a live account. Both ways of doing that are free.

  1. 01

Replay a session you have already seen

Market Replay runs a past session back tick by tick, at whatever speed you like. You get to watch DS Iceberg print in conditions you remember, and pause on the bars where it mattered.

  2. 02

Then trade it forward, on the simulator

Replay shows you the past with the ending already known. The simulator does not — it runs live, in real time, on real prices, with nothing at stake. That is where you find out whether you can actually act on what you are seeing.

A simulated fill is not a live fill. Replay and the simulator cannot reproduce real queue position, slippage, or what it feels like to hold a position with money on it, and results from either may differ materially from live trading. Test to learn how a tool behaves — not to estimate what it might return.
