DS ProMACD
A MACD panel rebuilt on the volatility-normalised MACD-V scale, with the exact price that would cross the signal line solved in closed form before the bar even closes.
- Cross price solved before it happens
- MACD-V gives it real fixed zones
- Six-state momentum ribbon
- Divergence with a full lifecycle

How it helps
A standard MACD tells you a cross happened only after the bar that made it closes — a beat too late to act on cleanly, and read on a scale that means something different on every instrument. DS ProMACD solves the exact price that would cross the signal line before the bar closes, reads on the same volatility-normalised MACD-V scale on every chart, and grades every divergence through a full lifecycle instead of leaving you to eyeball whether it is still valid.

In detail
By the time a MACD cross prints, the bar that made it has already closed. This solves the price it would happen at, first.
The exact close that crosses the signal line is worked out in closed form from the prior bar alone — fixed for the whole bar, so it cannot repaint — and shown as a rail on your price chart, a header chip and a panel target.
What makes the panel itself different
- MACD-V scale by default — real fixed zones on every instrument, not a self-rescaling axis
- A six-state ribbon: RISK, RALLYING, RETRACING, RANGING, REBOUNDING, REVERSING
- Four early layers — histogram slope-flip, pre-cross alarm, zero-line cross, ranging suppression
- Divergence with a PENDING → CONFIRMED / BROKEN / EXPIRED lifecycle, not a static mark
The panel's Y-axis locks, so a chart drag can never push the reading off its own scale.
Closed-bar decisions throughout — it does not repaint.

Test it on your own charts first.
Four screenshots and a paragraph are not enough to judge an indicator on. Watch it work in your own instrument, on your own timeframe, before it goes anywhere near a live account. Both ways of doing that are free.

Replay a session you have already seen
Market Replay runs a past session back tick by tick, at whatever speed you like. You get to watch DS ProMACD print in conditions you remember, and pause on the bars where it mattered.
- 02
Then trade it forward, on the simulator
Replay shows you the past with the ending already known. The simulator does not — it runs live, in real time, on real prices, with nothing at stake. That is where you find out whether you can actually act on what you are seeing.
A simulated fill is not a live fill. Replay and the simulator cannot reproduce real queue position, slippage, or what it feels like to hold a position with money on it, and results from either may differ materially from live trading. Test to learn how a tool behaves — not to estimate what it might return.
