What it is for
A session's high and low show where it traded; they don't show where it did its business. DS ASL adds that: inside every session's bracket, the volume it traded at each price, with the busiest price — the POC — carried forward as a level beside the high and low, so the last session's accepted prices are on the chart when price comes back to them.
What it reads from your chart
Price and traded volume, on any intraday chart: real trades read in the background, gaps filled from 1-minute bars. No Tick Replay.
